Funkshaan has been presenting the more glamorous side to desi and commercial club beats at its night at Dragon Eye for one and a half years, with a mix of Asian music legends like Rishi Rich, Juggy D, Tigerstyle, Swami, The Sona Family and next generation of stars that has earned it one of Birmingham most diverse crowds.

Having first opened in November 2002, at Digress Bar in Birmingham for true music enthusiasts who require a stylish atmosphere and sophisticated ‘flirty’ crowd and the highest quality of music played by the biggest names in the business.

However all is not lost as Funkshaan moves to legendary AIR, home to God’s Kitchen and Global Gathering. SATURDAY 8 MARCH kick starts the monthly residency and as ever FUNKSHAAN goes LARGE to round off the monthly in style with a super-sized night of madness planned.

Setting the standard, the opening night presents SACHA BROOKS (GALAXY) and SWAMI With additional sets from Manga, Parm Paneser plus Das and Sublime Djs along with a very special surprise guest.

This event promises to be an ear teasing delight, where the high expectations it will generate will most certainly be satisfied. As alaways Funkshaan puts in the long sets keeping it tough and funky, whilst the crowd add the glamour. It also offers you the chance to listen to quality music from numerous styles all under one roof and all in one night.
